About us

GolfSimLab is an independent guide for anyone building a golf simulator at home.

The people behind the site run two indoor golf centres near Oslo, Norway, with Trackman simulators. Even so, it was hard to work out which projector, PC, mat and launch monitor would fit a particular room at home. The answers were scattered across manuals, retailer guides and forums. So we built the tools we wanted ourselves.

How we work

• Figures come from named sources: the maker’s manual or website, large retailers’ space guides or independent tests. Sources are listed on each page. Where we derive a rule ourselves, such as the ceiling allowance in the room calculator, the page explains how.
• Prices and specifications were checked on October 12, 2026. Many prices are sale prices and change often.
• No maker or shop pays to be featured or ranked.
